Originally built to be used as a gas tank to house gasoline used to light up the famous Boston lanterns, this unique building was later used in the 1930s to exhibit motion pictures and in the 1920s to manufacture and store lighting fixtures. It stood vacant for 60 years before the historical site was transformed into this hotel for guests from around the world to enjoy.
