This hotel is located in the historic centre of Cardona, where once the school of the Order of the Carmelites stood. It is about 100 kilometres from the centre of Barcelona city. Due to its location, the hotel is the ideal starting point from which to discover Catalunya, and a bar can be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The nearest bus station can be reached in about 100 m, while it is around 100 km to the airport. Solsona is 20 km away and Olius is 25 km away.

The hotel was built in 1850. 19 rooms, including junior suites, 3 single rooms and 15 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A TV room and a conference room are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area.
