In a quiet location 8 km from Huddersfield, the hotel is situated on the edge of the Peak District. The picturesque National Park can be reached by car in 10 minutes and there are bars, clubs and restaurants within easy reach of the hotel. The bus station and railway station can be reached by public transport in 25 minutes and tourist attractions such as the National Coal Mining Museum, the Pennine Way and the Bretton Sculpture Park are easily accessible.

Facilities

The hotel was built in 1870. Guests have a choice of 2 single rooms and 28 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, room service, a laundry service, 2 conference rooms and a smoking area. Wireless internet access in public areas (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.
