Cha Am and Hua Hin are the locations of the King of Thailand's summer palace, just 200 km south of Bangkok on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. However, the boom of the hotel business has meant that the town has inevitably lost its sleepy feel. Cha Am is an excellent family destination, a paradise for retirees wishing to escape the dark and cold European winter. Cha Am beach is just a one-minute walk from the club resort and the town centre is a 10-minute drive away. Hua Hin city centre and Hua Hin beach are both approximately 15 minutes away by car. Suvarnabhumi International airport is around 200 km from the beach hotel.
