The hotel is situated just after the Faidherbe Bridge, in the heart of Saint Louis Island which is classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Guests will find the centre of Saint Louis, a museum and the Senegal River on the hotel doorstep. It is 5 km to the beach 20 km to Langue de Barbarie Park and 80 km to Djoudj Park. Dakar Airport is 270 km away.

The hotel was built in 1850. Guests have a choice of 36 rooms and suites. The reception desk is open round the clock. A currency exchange service, room service and a conference room are available.
