The train is recommended for longer excursions, and there is a station some 4 km from the hotel. Equally worthwhile is a trip to the Camelot theme park 30 km away or to Blackpool beach some 55 km from the hotel. Transfer times to Manchester airport are around 60 minutes, at a distance of 45 km.
