Location

This romantic hotel is uniquely located in the picturesque surroundings of the Protected Landscape Area of the Czech Karst. It lies on the banks of the river Berounka below the medieval castle of Karlstejn, and is about 800 m from the centre of Karlstejn with its restaurants. It is roughly 900 m to the railway station, 1.2 km to the tourist centre and 3 km to the forest. Attractions in the surrounding area include St John Under the Cliff (about 11 km), the Koneprusy Caves (some 13 km) and Beroun (roughly 17 km). It lies 25 km from the centre of Prague and 15 km from Ruzyně International Airport. It is popular thanks to its unique location and close proximity to the jewel of Czech history.
