Sandakan Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride away, while there is also an excellent connecting air service via Kota Kinabalu from Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong. Sukau-Kinabatangan River and Selingan Island (Turtle Island) are both about a 90-minute drive away.
