Location

This lakeside eco-resort is set amongst tropical plants and orchids, trees and grasses. It is 25 km from the town of Sandakan - its name means 16 miles (= 25 km) in the local dialect. The reserve is very close to Lankayan and is also easy to reach from both Sipadan and Kota Kinabalu. Sepilok Nature Reserve is just a 10-minute walk from the accommodation.

Facilities

Guests are warmly welcomed at the reception desk in the lobby. 60 double rooms are available. Valuables can be securely stored in the safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of some rooms. Rooms include a double bed. In the rooms guests will find a refrigerator, a tea/coffee station, internet access and a television with satellite/cable channels.
