Location

Situated in the north of Cork, the hotel enjoys an ideal location with easy access to all the major road routes - the N22, N20, N25 and the N8 to name but a few. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the city centre, where there is a wide range of shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Fota Wildlife Park, Cobh Heritage Centre and Shandon Bells are all just a 20-minute drive away, while the Jameson Heritage Centre and Mallow Race Course are just half an hour from the hotel. Cork Airport is approximately 8 km away.

Facilities

The hotel was built in 1872. Guests have a choice of suites, 30 single rooms and 40 double rooms located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services and facilities include a safe, room service, a laundry service and a conference room. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Individually adjustable heating ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features of some rooms.
