This historic hotel was once the residence of Sri Lanka's governor (1830- 1850), Sir Edward Barnes. It is located at 1890 m above sea level and is surrounded my green mountains and hills. In the near vicinity, guests will find a bus station (around 2 km away), restaurants and a beautiful lake (around 5 km away) and the train station (around 8 km away). The airport can be reached in around 5 hours by making use of public transport and it is located around 180 km away.
